I am not a big fan of pizza but these are quite good.
The pizza is pretty good. Be prepared to spend $5 a slice. Parking is a nightmare especially on the weekends in the evening. Everyone is really nice. Remember to look for the stairs down for access.
Ordered COVID-19 delivery from the joint - my first time ever even though I live nearby and all I gotta say is...what took me so long? The killer honey pizza is outstanding. Ordering was easy online. Contact-less delivery to my door. This is one of those small restos that you can order directly from and not having to go thru the big delivery services.
Very good pizza's
Best pizza in the neighborhood. Crave for it everyday.
Awesome place!! Kale and Bacon Pizza is THE BEST EVER!!!The staff is incredibly nice, friendly and cute. Highly recommend.
Easily the best take out/delivery pizza in Toronto. It is thin crust pizza with slight variations on standard pizza types and a monthly rotating type of pizza. The only slight draw back is the price, the pizza is totally worth it its just make sure to expect to pay more for much better quality.
Not to say my favourite location. Pizza was mediocre at best. Understandably that this place isn't that busy, the pizza wasn't as fresh as the queen street or Dufferin location. Been to both of those places many time and the pizza has been much better. Church Street location pizza was flat, sauggy in the middle and but the crust was cooked towards the crust. The flavour was decent but it was the staff that threw me off. Could have been a little more attentive and friendly. Hard to mess up heating up a slice, serving and taking my money but they managed to mess it up by standing behind the counter talking about what happened at last night's party. Sorry to interrupt
I don't know how I've never heard of this place before, because we could not have had a better experience! I loved the sesame crust, it reminded me of of bread they made in Greece years ago, thin, chewy, soft ... the pepperoni pizza was spicey and delicious and completely out of left field! The garlic bites are not overly garlicky which was good and the arugula salad very tasty with a delicious light fresh vinaigrette dressing...we were so pleased and pleasantly surprised!
While the pizza itself it deliciously thin and crispy I find that all the flavours apart from The killer bee are lack oyster. However the killer Bee has my heart!
They do some creative flavour combinations which aren’t to my personal taste. Also, a smoked sausage appeared on pizza even though it wasn’t listed on the menu. Normally wouldn’t complain about that, but it wasn’t good on the Killer Bee. Also they forgot my garlic dip.
went to this place after hearing great things about their truffle shuffle pizza. Pizza was burnt and not worth spending $25. Won't be going here again.
Best pizza in the GTA!!!
Ordered a pizza for pick up. Was told 45 minutes, no problem! Show up to get it, and they forgot the order and hadn't even started making it.
We stopped here a few times on our trip to Toronto in August 2019. This place is amazing. I've never had pizza like this before. My tip, the garlic and bacon pizza is amazing.
North of Brooklyn is our favourite pizzeria! We ordered the Killer Bee and got the garlic knots with marinara sauce. Both were delicious and is now our usual order ❤️❤️ everyone is super nice 👍 we’ve been to 2 different locations and the quality is the same. Thin crust best eaten right away. Fresh ingredients and unique combinations.
Always delicious. Great texture. Great flavours. Good delivery times. Friendly staff when you go there in person. Cool location interior. 6/5 👍
You would think after a lifetime of eating pizza, you'd have the pizza game down in your city, then shows up this place. After a recommendation from a friend to try this place, I can confidently say this is my top 3 if not #1 slice in the city. Super thin yet crispy dough, good fresh tangy sauce, quality cheese and premium ingredients makes this arguably one of the best slices in the city. I tried every slice with the Fun Guy, Margherita and Killer Bee being my favorite. Although the Fun Guy (mushroom and truffle - probably my fav) slice is not on the regular slice menu, they do sometimes make it. I would highly suggest that the owners make this a regular item. I'd have to say the White pizza was my least favorite, but thats subjective. The garlic dipping sauce was unlike any other (homemade, simular to Arabic style garlic sause) and the service was very nice. It's a light pizza so just get one for a quick snack or easily down 2 or 3. Looking forward to more of this pizza.
I just gave them 2 star (actually the second one is just because of the owners, they're super nice people) anyway... if you would be lucky you can get a good pizza and so delicious other wise its over cooked and you can't eat it... it happened to me several times these pics are just one example from those 3 times I ordered and they gave me pizza like this and you can eat 1 - 2 slices and put all of it in garbagePS. When I asked them about it, they told me I should ordered "lightly cook" which it is so difference between well done and burned 😅 🤣 such a bad reply 😝
Quick service, friendly staff, good pizza. Great if you like a New York slice. Wouldn’t classify it a Napoli style but it’s also not trying to be. Dough has more crisp than chew. The added sesame seeds on the pepperoni slice is a great detail and makes you want to eat it backwards. Which you can’t really do with thin slices because of the flop but these are crisp enough on the bottom that you could. I like that they keep the casing on, makes the peps turn I to cups which make them have texture. Truly the only way to enjoy a pepperoni slice. The marg is a classic, I wish the basil was fresh. Easily to eat, could easily have a second slice. This is one of those places you should seek out vs those larger chain places. The ingredients are fresh and you don’t feel sick after having a slice or two.
Last time we were there the pizza was absolutely burned black through, all the way around, and yet it was raw in the middle. We used to eat there but last several times they played the music extra loud and it was all about the F word and the N word. So we started getting take out but the pizza is going down in quality each time. We couldn't get this last one down. It was gross.
If you've done a long weekend trip to New York then you know the pizza is one of the things you really miss when you come home. This pizza smells right, it looks right and it tastes right.I've been making my own as well but this does the trick if you don't have time or are too lazy to proof your dough.
Definitely amongst the best in the city! Limited seating, but I find it's quicker to just stop in for a slice than ordering through the apps. Just south of Wellesley.
Very good, no nonsense, solid value NY style pizza. I dont know why youd get a slice anywhere else in this neighborhood.
Even though Toronto is a lost cause for good pizza - this joint does it far better than any other in the city. They pay homage to Di Farra from Brooklyn which for me is EXTRA points. REALLY GOOD PIE's....best in Toronto and its not even close.
The best pizza in Toronto. Had the New York Style Cheese Pizza. Came with a New Yorker and she said it was on par. Deliciousnessssss
I was looking for the best pizza around me and found this spot. Yummmm! It was exactly what I was craving for. Crust was so good too! Definitely having them again next time I’m in the area.
Worst pizza in Canada. Those nice pictures on the website are false advertisements. The real pizza you get has merely 1/2 the ingredients they show. So salty so bad... I would never buy from here again.I wonder how many basil leaf are on the pizza.
Ordered from NOB for the first time. Requested delivery from the Church Street location at 7:22pm. Was given a delivery time of 8:22pm (the restaurant is apprx half a km from my place). Called at 7:15 to confirm order is being prepared and was told "it's out for delivery". Called again at 8:32pm and was told they couldn't find my order but they can make another one (I don't think they ever made the first one) - it would take 40 mins. Should have stuck with the big chains instead of trying something new....especially with guests to feed.
Placed an order through their website consisting of 5 things from their menu. 1 medium pizza showed up, despite being charged $50. I brought the pizza back untouched and asked for a refund because they didn't give me the other things I ordered. The dude said I wouldn't get my money back for 5 days and that he couldn't do anything about it. No way to run a business.
Buyer beware. They have good pizza, but I can’t remember the last time I received such poor customer service. I ordered online, and it said it was a one hour wait to pick up my pizza. That’s fine, they are busy, but I’m hungry. I wanted to cancel it because of the long wait, but then there is no way to cancel online. So, tried to call the store, but it went directly to voicemail. I arrive about 8 minutes before my order time and find that they did know about the order earlier, but it was overlooked. I tried to vocalize my issue with me being unable to cancel my order, and with it being forgotten, and was met with hostility by the manager and staff. I was also told they unhooked the phone because they were too busy to deal with calls. After trying to continue to explain my unhappiness with the situation, they cancelled my order and said to find food somewhere else.
Worst Customer Service, Poor customer service. I heard a lot of reviews and it was horrible. Don’t forget that the only reason your store is still continuing is because people support but not when you treat them any way that you feel too, that’s when it starts going down. It’s seems like you guys are only money greedy and do not care about the service that you should be providing .
We got poorly treated. We got there at 12:01 and the guy told us they were not open yet. After I asked how much longer he said 5 minutes. We waited in the cold for 1 minute then decided to go in. The girl at the cashier was friendly and took our order. The guy didn't say anything. Not sure why we got the rude treatment. 2 stars cause the pizza was good.
First time customer today, very very good. Pizza was the best in Toronto. The crust has great balance in terms of weight & crisp. We had the truffle shuffle and added olives, my wife’s concoction. Truffle was very subtle, I would imagine anything you choose would be well balanced in flavor. The side Caesar salad was very good, everything is separated for you to assemble to you liking and the garlic knots fresh out of the oven. Location and pick up was very easy. We felt the value here very good. Always pick it up yourself if possible, don’t let an unpredictable ride steam up your order. Rob
Rude staff, no social distancing measures put in place, they dont wear masks or gloves, and they put the customers at risk.
This place is one of my favorites! Good rates, big dishes and the staff members are constantly very friendly.
I'm pretty much basing this review on the pepperoni slice, because it really did blow my mind. Sometimes, the best things really are kept simple. At first glance, the slice wasn't anything special. Some sauce, cheese and not too many pieces of pepperoni. But when you fold it and take the first bite, the flavour encompasses you in ways a chain pizza can't really do. I'll admit the sesame seed crust is a bit interesting and not my cup of tea, but the rest of the slice is perfection and simplicity.I also got to try the puttanesca and the kale and bacon. I much preferred the puttanesca, but my heart remained with pepperoni. I probably wouldn't bother making a detour for the other slices, but would happily feed my pepperoni craving with that slice. The garlic knots were great too.
Sadly, a very poor experience. I ordered from Foodora. The pizza arrived cold, limp and undercooked. When I contacted the owner, he told me to take it up with Foodora. I don't have time for that nonsense, lol. When I order a pizza from a restaurant, and they choose their delivery service, I deal with the restaurant. I love great pizza, and had heard good things about this place. I really wanted to love this pizza, but the whole experience has left me flat.
Excellent thin slice of pizza. Friendly happy staff.
The pizza was a bit cold and it wasn't fresh. This may be because I went to the place during the afternoon.
Ordered a medium killer bee. It didn’t seem to be better value than getting a slice and it was pretty sloppy looking. Crust around the edges was good but the rest was soggy and wet. The toppings tasted fresh and the flavour might have been good but it was just too mushy. The slices seemed like they would have been a better decision but I doubt I’ll go back to them.
Only heard great things about this place, but yikes, this is a mediocre and poorly made pizza. If you want something that resembles the pizza found on their website, give Maker Pizza a go.
Delicious pizzas here! My favourite is kale and bacon 💖💖💖💖 The resto is very small - 1 table that seats 4 and a bar along the wall that seats 4. Might want to be prepared to take the pizza to go.
The Truffle Shuffle pizza is perhaps the best pizza and garlic dip I’ve had in Toronto. It has a Crisp but chewy crust, thin and light base with no flop on the slice, amazing flavour.
The crust is nice and thin, toppings are flavourful. Had the garlic dip which was a nice addition. Also had the garlic knots which were really good too, they looked a bit burnt but didn't taste burnt at all (phew).
Michelin star. One of the best pizza joints in the city. Top 3 for sure, and I've eaten plenty of pizza pies in Toronto. The crust is phenomenal.
The best pizza in town! Simple and tasty!
OMG!!! Finally a New York style pizza comes to Toronto. Take it from this New Yorker, it’s real good!
This place is a true gem in the city, by far one of the best pizza places and an guaranteed value. Go for the “puttanesca” which for me is the killer item of the menu. Attention to ingredients and a consistent quality since I gave them a try 2 years ago. Order yours now! Do it!
Just one word: amazing!!!
